The Motorola Milestone is now upgradeable FREE to Android 2.1 in the UK by following these instructions on your phone:
- If you do not have an unlimited data plan, we suggest running the upgrade over WiFi
- Make sure your Milestone is plugged into a power supply
- Go to "Settings", "About Phone"
- Press "System Updates"
- You will be prompted to follow the 2.1 upgrade instructions
