Replacement Battery
Not much to say other than it gives a greater battery life than the original and is terrific value for money

Long-lasting battery!
I've had this for a couple of weeks. I wanted to run it full to empty a couple of times to get it working really well, but the damn thing was supplied fully charged and it took over nine hours to empty on that first attempt. It has regularly lasted over seven hours, and I'm beginning to get suspicious that the battery monitor isn't all that accurate on my Fedora 14 install because sometimes it says 6 hours, then takes a good eight to discharge. All in all this is an impressive battery replacement, unlike some others it doesn't stick out too far or lift the back of the laptop, and I've gone from 2-3 hours on my old battery to 7-9 hours on this, so that's a recharge every other day with what I use this for. I cannot comment on the longevity of it, though, as I've only had mine for a short time. At this price, however, if it only lasts a year then I'll be more than pleased.

Not a straight replacement but does the job
This battery is significantly larger than the original, claiming more than 10Ah capacity, compared with the original 6.6Ah. It is larger than the original, so it sticks out to the back and below the Eee, tilting the keyboard up a little and making it harder to fit in the pouch supplied with the Eee. It also limits the extent to which the screen can be pushed back. It was quite a tight fit to get in to place, but it charged quickly (less than two hours) and ran for two hours with less than 20% of the available power being consumed. Overall, it is satisfactory, but I'll probably get another 6.6Ah battery to use when travelling, so that it fits in the pouch and is lighter.
