Have found that the SensMe function on my w910i doesn't work. I have twice transferred music to my phone's memory card (once on the 1GB one that comes with the phone and once on a 4GB card I bought) and yet when going into the SensMe application it just comes up with "No mood songs found. Please use PC software to transfer songs". I have also tried transferring music via the USB cable and still no joy. Am I doing something wrong or is there a fault ? Thanks |
sir james02:10 20 Dec 07 4 Posts Hi there, you need to send the tracks from your PC via the install software supplied with your phone - it carries specialist coding that the W910i recognises to allow it to view in sens me.... |
charscot02:24 20 Dec 07 17 Posts Hmm, I tried that first. Beginning to think my phone has a fault :-( |
Unlikely to be a phone fault. Sir James is correct in his statement about the disc2phone software. You MUST use that to transfer music. You can use a card reader for the memory card and transfer to the card directly via disc2phone, which you will find LOADS quicker. This is probably your best option. Pete (I need JD) Graham ************** Damn you! Use forum search!!. |
charscot10:14 20 Dec 07 17 Posts Thing is I have already done that (twice in fact - once direct to the phne with the 1mb card and once with the card reader to the 4mb card) and it hasn't worked either time. :-( |
on the software press the setup button, go to "music" and check "Perform SenseMe music analysis when music is transferred" and then press "SenseMe music analysis" below it, when you transfer the music next time it will work. I had the same problem |

Thanh4213:27 20 Feb 08 2 Posts I used disc2Phone software to tranfer music but I couldn't find "music" and "Perform SenseMe music analysis when music is transferred"check box. Could you please tell me where is it. Does Sony Ericssion Media Manager 1.0 support SenseMe music analysis? Thanks a lot, |
charscot14:03 20 Feb 08 17 Posts It is the media manager rather than the disc2phone software that should be used. The latest version is 1.1 and if you follow the previous instructions then you should be fine. One thing I have found though is despite it's claims it is not entirely compatible with vista and seems to crash randomly whether transferring songs individually or in bulk :-( |
Thanh4214:15 20 Feb 08 2 Posts It works now. Thank you very much |
n7of900:24 28 Feb 08 2 Posts does this mean that any music already transferred when this setting was not selected will have to be transferred again so sensme can work? :( |
charscot02:36 28 Feb 08 17 Posts Yes it does. Any music transferred without the setting ticked will not be picked up by SensMe. |
