Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has experience of transfering there old mobile number from another service provider to their new O2 Pay&Go SIM through the website form?

I recently bought an O2 Pay&Go SIM (the online text anytime version) and went through the process of filling in the "Keep my Number" form on the O2 website giving my old number, new number, SIM number, PAC, etc. When I clicked submit I did not get any confirmation page and almost two days later I still have not received an email with confirmation or details of the transfer.

I thought I would try to find some info on here before I spend a fortune calling customer services!

Thanks...

I think you can email customer services if thats easier, It used to take 7 days to transfer your number  but I believe with at least a couple of the networks it can be done in 2 days so I would deffo get in touch with O2 somehow

OK, a quick update. I called O2 customer service as I had never heard anything back. They did not seem to have any knowledge of my online request to transfer my number. So I gave the guy my existing number that I want to keep, the number that it should replace and the SIM card number. He did not ask for the PAC code though. I even queried this and he said he did not need it. Is this correct? Has anyone else experienced this? I am transfering my number from T-Mobile, so it is not like I am just moving from O2 contract to O2 pay & go.

If you are going tmobile to O2, then yes he would need the PAC.
