microSD or microSDHC

Am I right in assuming this device does not support microSDHC?

Sony Ericsson have only stated it has a microSD card slot, but i would be very surprised if it didnt take microSDHC as well.

I have the X1 on order, I want to add a 16Gb Micro SDHC but haven't seen one and haven't seen any confirmation that it would even work.

Anyone know ?

*Cough*

Can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.  They work in most of the newer HTC devices if not all of them, and as the X1 is made by HTC...

Will Expansys have one for sale at the same time as X1 ships ?

SDHC card?  There's over 100 in stock now apparently.

Bear in mind it's a class 2 card so data transfer is at a guaranteed 2Mb.  Not that it'll matter, the phone won't really care.  2Mb /s  is more than enough for viewing video, recording video, taking pics, saving email attachments, etc.

@Scott Whitemore: 16GB MicroSDHC cards have been widely available for a few weeks now.
If you're having trouble finding them, then just head into your nearest high street mobile phone shop - Carphone Warehouse definitely have them.

@chandrum: it works with MicroSDHC cards.

agreed. I've been using a 16gb micro SDHC since getting my X1 a couple of weeks ago and its full! I just wish the 32gb comes soon! :-)
...Unless I am very much mistaken!
