k800i master reset

If my phone will not get passed 'the white screen of death'to the menu, how can get to the options and do a master reset??? Thanks for your help guys

try removing the battery then start it up and then if you have a chance to get to the option get to it quick otherwise the WSOD might come again...

i tried without the battery and all i got was the same wsod again!goddam phone

ooo right errrm i think you will have to return it then unless take the sim card out and try that if that doesnt work then i don't know sorry mate!

This wsod is also a sympton of corrupt memory sticks. Turn the phone off, remove the stick and try again.

i don't have a memory stick so i doubt thats it?!

What exactly were you doing when you got the WSoD?
What options did the shop / supplier say when you asked them about it?

i wasnt doing anythin, litterally the phone was in my pocket and i took it out to check it and it was on a WSOD. The manufacturer said i can send it back.

You bought it direct from SE? In that case send it back for replacement / repair.

no, its from carphone warehouse on an O2 contract, but it is still in the warranty so i figure i can send it back.

Sorry. When you said "manufacturer" I thought you meant the manufacturer.

The CPW are normaly pretty good for things like this so hopefully you'll have no probs.
