The 850 won't be shown. If you download the client it should be listed in here under the firmware. Just tried, and it lists R1ED001 which is the most current F/W for this phone. You only now need to choose your language pack. **************** Forum Search DON'T be afraid to use it |
whats the diff between the EU2/EU4/EU5?? |

So in theory I could use any of the EU flash files then and not just EU2? |
Depends on what languages you actually need other than English. If you look here you will see all the language packs and what they contain. For newer phones (such as this one) use the w810i bit near the bottom. You could flash it with Taiwanese but there's really no point unless Taiwanese is a second language to you... I only recommend EU2 because I have it and I like to break out in Sesotho every once in a while. Good for the soul. **************** Forum Search DON'T be afraid to use it |

janes1536 - hows it goin mate... I take it you were on Orange aswell... when you used DiVinchi did it put track id onto the phone - that was not on there with the orange branding??? janes153609:51 26 Oct 06 33 Posts the orange branding took away some of the features including TrackID and they installed a horrible shortcuts menu, all the menu was all over the place in comparison to the SE default and also really screwed around with the themes after debrading i have noticed that the phone is alot more responsive, its definately worth the £8... |

Stan. Read my post on the w810i thread. It is exactly the same procedure for the w850, only you will need to download the files for the w850 instead of the w810. Procedure and method is the same and for info, the w850 firmware you want is R1ED002 and if you only need UK, you need EU2. **************** Forum Search DON''T be afraid to use it |
im on o2, would debranding make a great differance to my phone? i have already posted on another thread about how it takes about 15secs to shut down but im sure its the latest firmware? |

hi there, bought a w850i unlocked on ebay, it was on vodafone n im on o2, i need to debrand it cos vodaphone are a pile of crap, i went on davinci thingy and bought a 8 pound thing to debrand it, but like i couldnt do it, i was following the instructions and held c on my fone then pluged in the usb but it just said that the device could not be installed, or jsut froze my fone and then i had to take the battery out to turn it on agaim, can any one help me by giving me step by step instructions on how to debrand my fone, im not a phone expert whatsoever, woul;d really appriaictae some help as ive siad, i paid the 8 quid alredy so want to get my m,onys worht. also just a note to say that the davinci woul;dnmt let me choose w850i as an option, thanks for anyone that can help me, mike |

Lightning2000:  GROUPED theme front screen - shows the last track played through the walkman.  GROUPED theme menu. Active menu, looks and feels really good.  Theme menu for standard Walkman.  ORANGE BUBBLES theme - another active theme, very simple but looks and feels ok. These are only a couple - the ones I could be bothered to upload.
