Limited service can sometimes mean its a blocked handset, but there was a whole post on the e900 forum about 02 and this error message, i would suggest you look there. |

It can also mean nothing more than you''ve got poor signal. It''s akin to the 'SOS calls only' message on SE phones. As Anita said, this has been covered at great length already. Please search before posting. -Step666 |

Just got a lot of stuff on my mind right now. Not helped by the fact I'm sort of between computers. Thank you though, it's nice knowing someone cares. -Step666 |

As I have pointed out, many times already, 'limited service' means no more than you have no signal. There can be any number of reasons why this is the case, most likely being that you're in a black spot for your network. You can still make 999 calls on whatever other network it is that you're getting a signal for but you can''t send texts or make normal calls. Your phone displaying the 'limited service' message isn't necessarily a sign that anything is wrong. It should only be of some concern if it happens a lot or in places you know the signal is fine, otherwise stop worrying about it - it''s a mobile radio-based communications device with an aerial of a limited size, of course the signal is going to drop out now and then. -Step666 |
