Beautiful device: Handset is bar none the highest quality on the market! Excellent performance, awesome keyboard very nippy in an out of applications! I've had just about every HTC device but this really is top of the list for me.

Good but battery poor: I was quite impressed using the keyboard. The phone appears to be built well and the screen is sharp and clear. The only problem is the battery. Use the phone as a PDA then it will drain the beast quickly. Overall I am impressed particularly as I run a small business, its got all the key office tools I need.

What we say:

If you type lots of messages while on the go, the Touch Pro2 has the best mobile keyboard bar none. The large comfortable keys and the extra row of numeric keys make all the difference. The tilting screen even lets you set it on a desk like a laptop. It also has HTC's SENSE UI, which makes Windows Mobile look stunning and lot easier to use. The hidden gen in the Touch Pro2 has to be the twin stereo speakers. Turn the phone over during a call and they automatically activate. You'll be shocked how loud they are. Play some music and it outclasses some dedicated portable speakers for volume.

KEYBAORD IS THE KILLER APP

THE TOUCH PRO 2 IS A GREAT DEVICE. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THIS IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS PHONE IN MY OPINION AND SERVES THE PURPOSE WELL.THE KEYBOARD IS THE KILLER APP ON THIS PHONE. ITS GREAT FOR TYPING, YES I AGREE, ITS NO DESKTOP, BUT SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE ONE. I JUST LOVE THE WAY THE SCREEN TILITS. THE 3.6 INCH SCREEN IS GREAT. HAS BUILT IN GPS,PLAYS YOU TUBE,GOOGLE MAPS ETC, ETC. THE PHONE DOES HAVE A FM RADIO. YES, IT DOES FEEL A LITTLE BIT HEAVY, BUT IT FEELS ABSOLUTELY SOLID IN BUILD QUALITY AND YOU ARE GETTING THAT KILLER KEYBOARD WHICH ADDS TO THE WEIGHT AND THICKNESS OF THE PHONE. OTHER POINTS TO MENTION ARE YOU EITHER LIKE WINDOWS OR YOU DONT. THE CAMERA COULD HAVE HAD HIGHER RESOLUTION. THE CPU COULD HAVE BEEN 1GHZ. TO SUM IT UP, I WOULD SAY, IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS USER WHO USES MS OFFICE AND USES WINDOWS, BUY THIS PHONE. TEENAGERS WANTING TO MAKE VIDEOS AND WRITE TEXT MESSAGES ARE ADVISED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Serious kit for serious uses

If you need the power features of this device, it's well worth the money, weight and slightly disappointing battery life. It's just fast enough to keep the finger-friendly features looking cute, and the combination of the unsurpassed keyboard, great speakerphone and huge range of serious software make for an excellent package.
