Keyspan RF Remote For Windows Vista Features

Vista Media Center RF Remote Control! The RF Remote for Windows Vista is a sleek and powerful RF remote control designed specifically for use with Vista's Media Center multimedia software. It provides more range, convenience and flexibility than infrared remotes.

Range: The RF Remote for Windows Vista provides a range of up to 90 ft (about three times the distance of infrared remotes).

Convenience: Unlike an infrared remote, this RF remote does not require line of sight to the RF receiver. This allows you to manage Media Center from more areas within the room or even from other areas of your house.

Flexibility: Since the RF signal works through walls and furniture, you have more flexibility in locating the PC that will be used to run Media Center. For example, you can place the PC inside an entertainment center cabinet or within an AV closet and still easily control Media Center with the remote.

No software is needed. Just plug the USB receiver into your PC and it works within seconds.

Requirements
•An available USB port
•Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate
•TV tuner card with FM radio capability required for live TV and radio functionality.

works great in windows 7

after trying half a dozen remotes i settled on this one, one of the few RF which is on the the WHCL, it needs no setting up and installs automatically, batteries last months range is ok- but as with all RF devices walls and cupboards reduce the range. definitely gets my recommendation

Excellent

Plugged in the USB RF receiver and once the driver had installed it self the remote worked first time. I also have a Keysonic wireless keyboard that operates in the same frequency band and I dont experience any interference at all. Remote has a nice feel to it and works well with Media Center.
