What we say:
“ Not a rehash, the Milestone2 ups the stakes on the original considerably. The new processor gets a speed bump to 1GHz, while the original was no slouch, the Milestone2 now flys through apps, and the extra on board memory gives plenty of space to run lots of apps or have graphic heavy web pages open. The new keyboard makes use of the wasted space on the original while also adding gently domed keys, making typing much more pleasurable. MotoBLUR is also now included, letting you aggregate and bring all your social networks. Just like the original, the Milestone2 comes with the latest version of Android available, which brings features such as wireless hotspot capability, speed boosts and lots of other tweaks and improvements. If you loves the Milestone, then you'll love this, its everything that was great about the original, but improved, refined & polished to bring it bang up to date. ”
The powerhouse device features a 1 Ghz OMAP processor, letting you multiply your multitasking, getting through stuff quicker, even when running up to 7 applications simultaneously or 8 open web browser pages.
Turn your Milestone2 into a personal hot spot for connecting up to 5 devices, so virtually anywhere can now be the centre of productivity.
Milestone2 features the latest version of MOTOBLUR, a service that keeps your life updated and secure on your device. MOTOBLUR syncs all your friends, emails, messages and Facebook®, MySpace, Twitter feeds and happenings with continuous updates and back-ups, along with the ability to remotely locate and wipe your phone if it is ever lost or stolen. Now new filters help you track messages, emails and social network status updates that you really need to pay attention to. An improved QWERTY keyboard layout and feel enhances the ease and versatility of writing up those quick or very long messages.
With up to 8Gb internal memory and up to another 32Gb of expandable memory, bringing your world of music, photos, film, books, games and apps has never been easier. With the free software Motorola Media Link you can easily transfer your multimedia from PC to phone.
With Adobe® Flash® player support, you can now view more of the world's web video offering, whenever you want to, not to mention playing even better games.

Motorola got the form factor pretty much perfect first time around, and wiht the v.2 revision sorted out the internals. I had been looking for a replacement for my Milestone 1 for about a year because it was slowing to the point of being comatose. I was worried that the M2 would be much the same, as on paper it doesn't look that much more powerful. But the extra RAM seems to do the trick. I've now re-installed all the apps I had to abandon for lack of space on the M1 and the M2 is still motoring along. What can I say - a smartphone without a keyboard is just plain dumb!

Superb build quality; great keyboard; clever motoblur skin over standard android. Very swift navigation through menu system- no lag. Great speakerphone. I love its subtlety and understated style- no flashiness here. Lovely gloss finish on the front frame and soft-touch at the rear. Dirt Cheap for what it is. At this price I feel Ive almost stolen it!

iphones are overrated! This phone is great value for money, easy to use and solid. I dropped it already and not a scratch, if it was an iphone it would have been the death of it!!
