What we say:
“ The Milestone is a handset thats proof its not about raw numbers. The A8 processor in the Milestone handles anything you throw at it with ease, while the impressive hi-resolution display makes using Android a joy. Its shockingly thin, which is impressive considering it manages to pack a full keyboard. Built like a tank with generous use of metal and the toughed gorilla glass screen means its going to survive long after most phones have given up. Its also 100% Android, with no gimmicky add on's to get in the way of the Google experience. ”

Superb phone (only the camera lets it down)
Still photos aren't brilliant, but just about everything else is. Very fast moving between apps, the online upgrades for Android have worked really smoothly, brilliant hi res screen, only recently bettered by Iphone 4 (show a friend the satellite maps and watch their jaws drop), really fast web access. I really like the physical keyboard, but others think it is not a good example. You can feel the build quality in your hand. Supremely tough (gorilla glass?) screen, but does smudge. Even now, a very, very good phone.

I nearly sent this phone back due to a VERY short battery life (aprox. 15hrs) BUT after taking advice from the helpful staff in the returns dept, I kept it and I'm very glad I did. I was advised to download an "App Killer" from the Market and allow for the battery to get "conditioned". After trying many different options I finally settled on "Task Maager" but you might prefer one of the many others out there. I've since found another App called "Juice Defender" with together with everything mentioned now produces a respectable (for a smart-phone) battery life. Everything else on the phone is great, once you get used to Andriod (I was coming from Windows Mobile). The camera is outstanding. Finally a spart-phone camera you can use after dark! Don't be put off by the low clock speed, it never really feels slow as long as the Task Manager is doing its job, but with 2.2 (hopefully) arriving at the end of the year it can only get better!
