If Bang & Olufsen made acoustic iPhone docks, they'd probably look a bit like this. They don't, but Ozaki has stepped up to the mark to sculpt the Nautilus out of a satisfyingly weighty zinc alloy.
It boosts sounds from your phone's speaker through an acoustic chamber, meaning it needs no power source, though you can plug it in to a USB port to use the dock as a charger and holds the iPhone at just the right angle for Facetime video calls, apparently (assuming it's on a desk or table).
The shell-like shape is claimed to "acoustically amplify" incoming music or voices by 15dB, and also enhance the outgoing microphone for clearer phone calls.
