Love this phone. I use it for email, music (SD as well as streaming), games, GPS (bluetooth receiver and tomtom nav5, controlling my pc, another flash storage device, and its filled with alot of crap i use, ListPro, MySportTraining etc. Long story short, if your a geek/function monkey buy it, you'll get your moneys worth out if it. BUT if your planning to use THREE then don't bother. They've implemented a block on non-three branded phones - eventually, unless your phone has a three sticker/logo on it, it won't work on their network. Annoying since i've been a customer of theirs for 2 years now. I now either upgrade to a handset i dont want or change provider and pay more monthly. Anyway, a stiff middle finger to three, but as for the phone - 5 stars.... More
This is a great phone. GPRS/3G/HSDPA/WLAN connectivity makes it very flexible. I'm using it with a 3 SIM with X-Series Gold and it works fine.
It does have one or two quirks - it's a bit fussy about which MiniSD card you use, it shows Orange as the network when 3 roams to Orange, battery life isn't great (don't go away overnight without a charger!) and there doesn't seem to be any notification of voicemails. Also if using a 3 SIM, don't use AutoConfiguration...it decides you're on Telstra in Australia and that seems to mess up the DNS servers.
All in all, excellent value and well worth buying.... More

Browse net shares, surf, get a 3G video call, play music, syncs beautifully, easy setup, could not take it out of my hand for the first 2 days. Speak 'mexican food' into it and find it near you in seconds with free Windows Live Search. Television. Handwriting recognition and OSK. Bought another a week later for wife, no choice. Rugged, but get a jacket for it. Oh yeah, 'best device ever'..... :)... More

A written look at the MWg Atom Life, a video review is also available which shows the speed of the 624mhz processor, the Windows Mobile application, and the overall design of the device, plus a demonstration of the devices WiFi capabilities.
In this day of ever increasing device size, the MWg Atom Life is a breath of fresh air. This small, lightweight Windows Mobile device is slim, sleek and aesthetically pleasing both to the touch and eye. Do not however make the mistake of thinking this slim and sleek package covers a weak device. Nothing could be further from the truth. Under the covers is an impressive and snappy processor, a generous amount of ROM and a fantastically bright and crisp QVGA display. While you won't find a hardware keyboard on the Atom Life, you will find a device that any serious business or media lover will enjoy at a price that is much gentler on the budget than most devices in the class.
As an alternative to the Zinc II, MWG has released the Atom V, which is essentially very similar. The one big difference is the removal of the QWERTY style keyboard.
The MWg Atom Life is the fastest touchscreen-only phone we've ever seen and with a 624MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor lurking under the hood, it feels as responsive to use as the lofty clock speed suggests.
