Gio is OK

Had this phone for a year - great entry level android, great style, feels good and the screen is ok but a bit small. The onboard memory sucks - so you cant add too many apps. No flash with the camera which isn't great. It's not a cool phone but it's quite a rare model. The one i bought from Expansys came from Poland so the default language is not English which can be hard to navigate if you are new to Android and want to change the language settings. It worked well when tethering and generally worked reasonably well for a slow 800mhz processor. The biggest bug or major screw up is the WIFI. If you leave wifi switched on and leave the wifi hot spot - this willcause the phone to go into a deep shutdown making it very annoying if you need to check your phone only to find it will be 3 or 4 minutes before it can be switched back on. That was a major pain with this phone but once you work around it - its fine. I got an iPhone 5 now and its 5 times the phone the Gio is and 5 times the cost. This phone is good to start out with but eventually it will get annoying with its wifi bug.
